Breakfast is usually at the riad: coffee, bread, jam, sometimes eggs, sometimes pancakes with honey. Lunch is the meal we choose on the road — grilled meat, vegetable tagine, a salad that is actually several salads. Dinner in camp is communal and filling. Dinner in Fes can be a palace if you want it, or a tiny place with one couscous.
Vegetarians eat well. Vegans need us to speak to kitchens in advance. Alcohol is available in some city restaurants and not in most family guesthouses; we can plan around your preference without making it a theme.
Mint tea is not a cliché when someone pours it from a height in a Dades courtyard after a windy pass. Say yes.
If food is a primary reason you travel, tell us. We will add a cooking class in Marrakech or a market walk in Fes instead of a third viewpoint.
